Ellacoya Networks Finds $13 Million Series C

MERRIMACK, NJ -- Telecom software maker Ellacoya Networks said it has closed its series C investment round, receiving $13 million from its existing investors.

The company makes software that helps telecom carrier optimize their systems to offer the best quality service to their customers.  By using Ellacoya's products, wireline and wireless network operators can better understand and manage traffic dynamically, thus helping to ensure service level agreement quality.

Investors in the round were Atlas Venture, BCE Capital, Canaan Partners, Lightspeed Venture Partners and Presidio Venture Partners.
